Day-to-day property management is handled by SAM Property Management. Each property is owned by its own separate legal entity and investment group. SAM National Properties is the umbrella company for each investment entity, acting as Managing Member. We also take advantage of other prime investment opportunities. The mission of SAM National Properties, LLC is to develop and manage housing for Sigma Alpha Mu chapters. In 2015, Sigma Alpha Mu established two new entities for the purpose of meeting the increased need for housing for our chapter members throughout the United States and Canada. Chapters and their members benefit from having their own “home”, a center of operation, and congregating space to conduct official activities, parties, or just socialize. Greek housing is in high demand due to a shortage of viable fraternity houses, as well as the steady growth (4.8% annual growth) of Greek communities throughout collegiate America over the past ten years.

Our brotherhood also knows how to relax and have a good time. We are consistently at the top of the fraternity GPA rankings and constantly strive to improve our grades. We are always on the lookout for new ways to serve the community.Įven though we keep ourselves busy with our involvement in campus activities and service events, we do not forget about the real reason we are all here at OWU: academics. Projects include our Annual Servant/Date Auction, helping out at the Arts Castle, and our many delicious Stromboli dinners. We strive to not only benefit our national philanthropy, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, but also our previous national philanthropy, Canine Companions for Independence, and other philanthropic organizations in the area. Our chapter participates energetically in many philanthropic and service activities/events on and around campus. We also have numerous brothers representing OWU through varsity sports. Our chapter is very well-represented in University extra-curricular activities, including (but not limited to) C.L.E.A.R., WCSA, Mortar Board, Student Judicial, Babbling Bishops, and departmental honor societies.
